University donates 100 tablets to help special education students in West Virginia
By ITS Education Asia

It is quite obvious that Hong Kong has a growing digital divide. The digital divide is happening globally. Independence University, an accredited online university, donated 100 tablets to assist the Special Education department of Mercer County Schools in West Virginia. The tablets will be distributed to students from pre-kindergarten through 12th grade within 26 different schools. They’ll be used by more than 1,700 special education students within the school district.
This is a great example which will hopefully lead others to do the same.
